Motorcyclist killed in traffic accident with large truck

EDGEWATER -- A motorcyclist in his 50s was killed early Monday when he collided with the side of a rental truck after that driver ran a stop sign at West Park Avenue and Air Park Road, Edgerwater police said.
The truck was northbound on Air Park Road and failed to stop at the stop sign resulting in the collision, which killed the helmet-less biker.
Police did not immediately release the name of the biker or that of the driver while an investigation is ongoing in the 10:50 a.m. fatality.
