Lemonade Lectures features Stetson professor at DeBary Hall March 6
DEBARY -- Paul Lachelier will discuss “Communities in America” at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 210 Sunrise Blvd.
A political sociologist and assistant professor at Stetson University, Lachelier researches and teaches about American society and political culture. The discussion will focus on the ways communities and politics influence one another.
His talk is part of Lemonade Lectures, a free learning series about local history, culture and destinations. Light refreshments and lemonade will be provided before the presentation, which will be in the DeBary Hall stables.
DeBary Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is owned by the state and managed by Volusia County’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Division.
