Child-mentor Martha Wheeler NSB Middle School's 'Volunteer of the Year'

NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Martha Wheeler, a volunteer at New Smyrna Beach Middle School for more than eight years, was recently named "Volunteer of the Year."
She volunteers in the media center each week and serves on the Mentor Program Board of Directors, keeping the files and records of the program in perfect order.
Wheeler has been a mentor to two or more students for all the years of her volunteer service, and has formerly been voted "Mentor of the Year."
"She is to be congratulated for her investment in the lives of students at the middle school," said Dana Thompson, media specialist at the school.
