NSB Cops: Stretch of Wayne Avenue closed due to depression in roadway
PUBLIC SAFETY
NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- A stretch of Wayne Avenue was closed Tuesday night after a depression was discovered in the roadway, New Smyrna Beach police said.
The closed area is between Halleck Street and Fairway Drive due to a depression, which is being repaired by the Volusia County Streets Division, police spokesman Sgt. Michael Brouilette said.
Detour signs were posted alerting motorists to the situation. The road is expected to remain closed through Wednesday afternoon.
