Enjoy boating on the NSB Intracoastal
I bought a little Sea Doo a few weeks ago and am now back on the water again after 15 years.
What a joy! I had actually forgotten just how wonderful and beautiful our beloved community of New Smyrna Beach is from the water.
Fresh air. The brackist salt-water smell You just can't beat it. The wildlife is spectacular and our waterways are clean. We are so fortunate to live in such a natural area with the Intracoastal Waterway on one side of us and the mighty Atlantic Ocean on the other side.
I may even take up fishing. Does anyone recommend a another good spot?
Do yourself a favor. Get out on the water by boat, canoe, kayak, inflatable, whatever. Even in this troubled economy, there's something everyone can afford depending on how much time you want to spend on the water.
Enjoy our natural playground: Gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream.
