OAK HILL -- On this Thanksgiving holiday and every day for that matter, I am thankful to be a five-year surviver of breast cancer. Because of my good health and good friends, I am thankful that I can help out my city of Oak Hill in some small way as vice mayor.

I am thankful our children have a good school they can attend here in Oak Hill with the Oak Hill Burns Science and Technology Charter School, which opened this year. And I am thankful for all my friends here who are trying to make this a better place to live and enjoy life.
We are indeed blessed. Enjoy your turkey!
