Caution: Bad language -- Tempers flare during public comment portion of NSB commission meeting

NSBNEWS.net video by Sera Frederick. Bad language by two New Smyrna Beach residents led to chastising by Mayor Sally Mackay during Tuesday's City Commission meeting. Robert Rees felt he was being stonewalled on who initiated a proposed pay raise fr the city clerk, prompting him to say "This is bullshit." Fellow resident Bob Tolley was upset about something to do with the NSB Utilities Commission and used the word "bitching."

Bad Language

The NSB taxpayers should be thankful for all that people like Robert Rees and Bob Tolley do and/or challenge our City Leaders. We deserve more answers then we seem to get from them our leaders. We deserve a more open form of Government then we seem to get. They very seldom answer emails either. It is very discouraging to say the least about how our City is run.
