Daytona's Main Street Bridge reopens
DAYTONA BEACH -- The Main Street Bridge in Daytona Beach reopened to traffic at 3:30 p.m. today following repairs to a faulty limit switch, Volusia County spokeswoman Pat Kuehn reported this afternoon.
The limit switch allows the bridge to open and close for boat traffic, she said.
The bridge had been closed since Friday evening when it became inoperable.
