America MUST!
Before America’ public school system collapses, our school boards need to join our
country’s public in demanding that public education become the priority it ought to be.
Please help ignite the wildfire our schools need us to become by spreading the word
about E Cubed Alliance's Facebook page. I'm positive when we all unite on this GREAT
things shall happen for our America!
For America, 1 Million Miles – We CAN do this, so whether you walk/run/row/bike/
skate/whatever your cup of tea, PLEASE send each week’s mileage to Jesse Turner at
turnerj@ccsu.edu with the subject line “Million Miles Challenge”. Our total will appear
each Tuesday night on Facebook’s “Children are more than test scores under” under
Events. Give your team or individual names with your totals & personalize with pictures and tag lines.
Chamber of Commerce
I was recently at the Artist Workshop, above the Chamber of Commerce building sharpening pencils with a manual sharpener, when Samantha from the Chamber came upstairs to see what all the racket was about. She was so very kind to let me use the Chamber's electric sharpener, which meant a lot to me as I had quite a few pencils. Where but in a small town do you find such big hearted people? Thank you Sam, Jane and Joy!
Hey , I'm new here !
Hi!
Nice site, I hadn't observed nsbnews.net before in my searches!
Keep up the excellent work!
Tragedy on the beachside
Your coverage of the bicyclist killed Tuesday was spectacular. You brought the story home complete with a well-written story and a riveting video production with the sheriff's helicopter taking off from the North Causeway Bridge. New Smyrna Beach is very thankful to have this daily news we just can't get any where else. Keep up the excellent work. People are really starting to take notice of your efforts.
The video and overall news
The video and overall news coverage by NSBNEWS.net was more than appropriate. This was a major news happening that impacted a lot of people. This is relevant and important news coverage. We have a right to know what happened. The coverage was tasteful, professional and honest. Great job NSB News!
Top 100 Stories of the Year
I really enjoyed your top 100 stories of the year. It looks like you did your homework. You showed a lot is happening here in our community. It's good to know we can have a reliable source of new every day and it is free.
Top 100 Stories of the Year
The videos on the Medicine Shoppe fatal shooting was a great choice for the top story of the year. Crime is a problem, even here in sleepy New Smyrna Beach. Drugs are everywhere and it is no different here. We love your website. Keep up the excellent reporting and videos.
And Just Why Did Hargy Come Back
Good story, but where is the story behind the story. She was all set to go to a private sector job that she herself said paid more than she was making here. She said she had to move on. So what changed her mind? I am sure it was not the "camaraderie" of Rakowski and Fall.
Henry go dig deeper and see what lies below.......
Site is great
Henry, your Web site is looking awesome. Everything is proportioned and easier to find. The stories are very informative as are your blogs. We especially like Peter Mallory's blog and the Outdoorsman blog by Capt. Budd Neviaser. We enjoy reading the police reports - day and night . You have real news that you can't find anywhere else about what is really happening in New Smyrna Beach. We can't wait to read your rankings of the year's top stories. Word is getting around town and people are starting to learn about NSBNEWS.NET so keep up the good work.
Canal Street lights
$15,000 for Christmas lights on Canal Street? This can't be true. We are in a recession. Look at the photos. The street is empty of people and cars. Who is paying the electric bill for lights day and night? This is outrageous!
